All though I’m a “chick,” it’s still pretty funny.

After I finding the site Hot Chicks with Douchebags, I rushed to my Facebook account looking for the perfect submission (unfortunately, there were just too many to choose from).

All though I cringe when hearing/reading/repeating the phrase quote/unquote HOT CHICK, posting anonymous ‘net photos of what society defines as an attractive woman with guys that are [...]

SiteHoppin: the one thing college students probably didn’t need

Not sure why I should go on, because the logo says it all—
Site Hoppin’ literally hops sites via simulation slideshow to enable the bored net surfer to cradle a cool beer in his or her hand and wait for something interesting to slither by.
Registering also enables the site you yourself host to be featured on [...]

Not to be a biter

…but the Tree of Life Project is probably the coolest thing to come around in some time.
And I say biter because, not that anyone noticed but it’s the head story on UT’s homepage.
Basically it’s the biggest and most complete biology encyclopedia, with over 9,000 biologists contributing. The links are placed hierarchically in “the form of [...]

Take that Wikipedia

If you remember correctly, Wikipedia and I got into a little spat because it took down the picture of my dimple on the “dimple” article page. If you don’t remember that, well, they did.
Thanks to Biographicon, I can seize back my 15 minutes of fame and feel the warmth of sweet spotlight again.

The idea=making the [...]

What a find

Last summer one of my good study abroad buddies showed me a site about finding things, which completely enamors me because, well, I used to look for buried treasure as a kid (obviously a fantasy acquired from “The Goonies”).
FOUND Magazine is a site dedicated to those still looking for that buried treasure (at heart). Every [...]

3D Lexicography

And if you don’t know what lexicography is, I have retrieved its meaning, specifically for this entry, from Visuwords. It’s an online graphical dictionary that dissects words for an intense linguistic experience.

It even has a “Random” selection, like wiki, but with pure definition.
Word.

Thinking of having a Mario party?

Get some tips from Mario Bar in Copenhagen. It’s a Mario-themed bar with ten Mario drinks, i.e. the Yoshi, the Princess Peach, etc.

Pretty damn amazing. The website holds all the drink recipes for each.
I would recommend the “1-up:”
1 cl melon bols
1 cl vodka
1 cl milk
whipped cream
green frosting

Delish.

The ultimate culmination of annoying networks

I regret to inform you that Paul Buccheit, a programmer/developer for Gmail, has assumed a mad scientist role and created the culmination of all annoying mainstream applications and networks, friendfeed.

Becoming a member means compiling feeds from 28 different web applications like Digg, Reddit, del.icio.us, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Last.fm, and your own blog, to name a [...]

Practice what you preach

Even though hoarding those campaign signs and buttons may bring you some cash on some futuristic Ebay someday, it’s complementary to assume that Obama supporters like recycling. Therefore, Obama infused with Web campaign strategy has come up with this:

ObamaCycle is a social network site (wait wait, let me finish) where Obama supporters can join, post [...]
